We are looking for coaches to join our ever growing club. There are positions available in both the Senior and Junior sections.

London Wayfarers Hockey Club Men’s section is seeking to appoint a 2nd team coach for the 2017-18 season.
The team will be playing in London Hockey League Division 1, with aspirations to gain promotion to the LHL Premier Division after just missing out last season. This role is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious coach to develop the 2nd team into a Premier Division team and play at the highest standard in the South for a 2nd team.
Required for the role:
- Develop and define the vision and strategy for the 2nd team, including tactics, playing principles and player recruitment
- Level 1 or above hockey coaching qualification (or experienced coach/player)
- Able to lead training once a week (Tues/Thurs)
- Able to coach league/cup fixtures as required on Saturdays (don’t need to make all games)
- Be a great communicator and have a desire to become a part of a great team and club
As a club with 18 adult sides (9 men’s and 9 women’s) and over 450 junior members this is a great opportunity to become involved with the longer term strategy of the club and potentially progress to a head coach role. The team trains at Battersea Park, so it’s a perfect job for someone living in central or south London.
Salary – Negotiable on application.

London Wayfarers Hockey Club Ladies section is seeking to appoint assistant coaches throughout the section for the 2017-18 season.
This is a perfect opportunity for newly trained coaches or senior players to develop their coaching skills and support lead coaches in the running of the training sessions. Sessions are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays both at Battersea Park and Raynes Park.
Salary – compensation package depending on experience, coaching courses may be included.
