London Wayfarers recently welcomed new recruits to the club which brought the total membership to over 1,000 for the 2017-18.

This is a huge milestone for the club and testament to how far it has come in the last few years. Much of the rapid growth has been due to a thriving, 550-strong junior section and a senior section which prides itself on being one of the most active and sociable clubs in the country.

The club as enjoyed plenty of success over the past few months and massive thank you must go to all the volunteers. They help to ensure so many players are able to enjoy playing weekend after weekend, regardless of whether players are seasoned pros or beginners.

Recently the U13 Girls teams have enjoyed a successful tour to Barcelona and and the annual Christmas hockey camp has just started.

The Mens and Ladies sections of the clubs now run an impressive 18 teams, of which so many were present at the recent Christmas Storytime social.

The first Black & Orange Road Run will see senior and the junior sections of the club descend on Battersea Park and come together for the very first time. The event is just around the corner and the club hope to kick-off the New Year in style.

Merry Christmas and here’s to a HUGE 2018 London Wayfarers, onwards and upwards!!
