We are beyond delighted to announce that we are now an official England Hockey TALENT CENTRE!
Talent Centre status recognises we as a club provide a high quality talent development experience.
Now what does this mean for you:
As juniors and parents of the club – you know your children are playing in a great development and learning environment to support them in foreign their ambitions, talent and enjoyment of the game.
As seniors of the club – this is an incredibly status for us as a club, attracting talent from across the country and support from the wider hockey community to enrich your club experience!
A HUGE Thank you to all the hard work of our coaches & volunteers that really make things possible at LWHC but most importantly of all to Director Mark Atherton who has spent countless hours to ensure England Hockey recognise the great work we do as a club!
A shinning example of this, captured in the above post attached below, is of Ladies 1s player Isy who recently representing the England Girls U16s who started her hockey as a young younger at the club!
Some very exciting times ahead for LWHC and we cannot wait to share this exciting season with you all
