Together with England Hockey, we are starting a pilot to get more senior and junior players, parents and enthusiasts through the Level 1 Umpiring Course.
Delivered by England Hockey tutors and London Wayfarers Umpiring Officer Dion Oliver, courses will run this season on a monthly basis. To complete the qualification will take just 5 hours.
After completing the 3-stage course, you will:
- Be able to support your fellow teams across the club in providing support for match days (parents are encouraged to support)
- Be able to shout about the certificate and volunteering experience on your CV.
- Have a greater knowledge and understanding of the rules and the game in general.
Be given your very own set of cards and whistle!
