Our Flyerz Outreach Programme is dedicated to bringing the joy of sport to those who can’t easily come to us. Through this initiative, we provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to experience the benefits of physical activity, teamwork, and motor-skill development.
Over the past two years, we’ve established strong relationships with specialist communities, including SEN schools and community clubs, to bring Flyerz Hockey directly to those who need it most. By doing so, we’re breaking down barriers that often prevent individuals with disabilities or who are neurodiverse from being active and trying something new.
Our outreach sessions are specially designed to fit within the school day, offering 4 to 6 sessions per school, each lasting 6 to 12 weeks. We typically engage 8 to 12 pupils per session, providing them with a safe, supportive environment to learn and enjoy hockey. And for those who wish to continue, we offer free evening club sessions, welcoming all abilities.
We are proud to partner with the following SEN schools, community clubs, and activity providers to make this programme a reality:
We are keen to expand our partner network. If you are interested in becoming one of our partners or would like some more information, please email [email protected].
